Export guides

Get last month's leads out of your system.

A back-test needs one spreadsheet of past leads and what happened to them. Pick your system for the exact steps. Excel or CSV both work, and your own column names are fine.

Export leads from Lead Prosper

Lead Prosper can export the leads table straight to Excel.

  1. Open the Leads page and set the date range you want (for a back-test, last month).
  2. Optional: filter by status. Include Accepted and Returned so the back-test can measure returns.
  3. Click Export Leads (top right of the leads table).
  4. Choose XLSX (or CSV), give it a name, and enter your email address.
  5. Open the email from Lead Prosper and download the file. The link expires after 7 days.
  6. Upload that file to LeadVettr as it is.

Columns to include

  • Lead ID
  • Seller / source / vendor
  • Date and time received
  • First and last name
  • Phone
  • Email
  • State and ZIP
  • IP address (if stored)
  • TrustedForm certificate or Jornaya LeadiD (if stored)
  • Price / cost paid
  • Status or disposition (sold, returned, contacted…)
  • Return reason (if returned)
  • Supplier (use as the seller)
  • Campaign

Use whatever names your system gives them. LeadVettr matches them, and you confirm the match before anything is scored.

Good to know

  • Returned leads carry the return date and reason. Keep those columns: they're what the back-test measures against.
  • TrustedForm / Jornaya IDs only appear if they're fields on your campaign.
